Cornelius "Corny" Rooster is the mascot of Kellogg's Corn Flakes.

About Corny[]

He is a rooster. He has a green body, red comb, yellow beak, and multicolored tail. He rarely speaks, but promotes the advantages of a healthy breakfast with his expressions, good attitude, and healthy appearance.

In 1957, Cornelius Rooster became the new mascot for the cereal. In early television commercials, he wasn't able to crow until he ate a bowl of Corn Flakes; the narrator stated, "Nothing gets you crowing in the morning like Kellogg's Corn Flakes." In later commercials, Cornelius jumps off the box of cereal and sings to a little boy, "Tall up and up and up and up and up with the tall corn taste of Kellogg's!" and the boy grows very tall and saves the day.

In 1992, Cornelius Rooster's Friend, The Sun makes a first appearance of his face right before defeating the rain cloud by blowing him.
