Special K is a lightly toasted cereal manufactured by Kellogg's. The cereal was introduced onto the United States in 1956. It is made primarily from rice and wheat. It is marketed primarily as a low-fat cereal that can be eaten to help one lose weight. It frequently has give-away offers for various health and fitness products or containing dieting information on the back of the box.

Their slogan used to be: "Get the taste, lose the fat." It's main logo was the big red K and red was the main colour they used to advertise their cereal. Many models were used to advertise how the cereal improved their figure and the many offers they included such as watches and razors. Many differeant flavours followed the original as the years went by such as Medley, Red Berries, Fruit and Yoghurt and Honey and Oat.
